Steam Whole Fish with Taro



Ingredients
  • Clean whole fish, any kind you preferred
  • 500mg taro cut to pieces
  • 5 pieces fresh chili
  • 5 pieces green onion, slices
  • 3 pieces red garlic, diced
  • 5 pieces garlic, diced
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 1 teaspoon chicken powder
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for deep frying

Directions
Browned both side of the fish in a large skillet over medium heat, remove and set aside.
Browned taro in a medium skillet over medium heat, remove and set aside.

In a small pot over low heat, brown red and white garlic and set aside.

Bring on a large steam plate, put taro to the bottom continue with fish, add soy sauce, fish sauce, chicken broth, chicken powder, top with browned red and white garlic with some fresh cut chili.
Put in a steam pot and leave it for a good 20-30 minutes.  Finish with green onion and the rest of chili for the decoration.
