Today our menu is Lemongrass Chicken, this food is very good if you’re trying to watch your weight and or experiencing icky stomach. Best of lemongrass is to kick some bad air of your body while lean chicken meat good for watching your weight
So, here come the recipe:
Ingredients:
- 250g of chicken breast; grounded (try to kinda ground it yourself would be better than bought it pre-grounded, it is safety and healthier in my opinion)
- 2 stalks of lemongrass, thin sliced
- 1 tablespoon of kafir lime leaf, thin sliced
- 2-3 pieces of fresh chili, sliced
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- 1 teaspoon of oyster sauce
- 1 teaspoon of fish sauce
- 1 teaspoon of sugar
- 1 teaspoon of chicken powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
Directions:
Browned chopped garlic in a medium saucepan with cooking oil over medium heat and add lemongrass, chili and kafir lime leaf. Stir back and forth for about a minutes and kinda toss it to the side of the pan and add ground chicken. Stir it continuously, so the meat doesn’t get stuck together and toss back your lemongrass, chili and kafir leaf.
Start adding oyster sauce, fish sauce, salt, sugar and chicken powder; then reduced the heat to medium-low heat. Stir occasionally till it gets dry up and reduced the heat to low. Bring it to your taste and that should be done.
